Like all of the best ideas, it started off as a joke on Saturday night.
But one day later, a woman from Plainville, Mass., found herself naked and sprinting down the 18th hole at Muirfield Village at the Presidents Cup.
"I was just like this will be funny, and it will be epic," she said on Boston's "Karlson and McKenzie" morning radio show as she bore it all about her motives to bare it all Sunday afternoon. (Listen to the full audio here.)
She was introduced as Kim, and she lives with her 82-year-old grandmother in Ohio after a recent move from Los Angeles at the end of September. Ohio isn't L.A. and Muirfield Village isn't Hollywood, so something had to be done to spice up the event she was working at as a temporary employee as a banquet server on the 17th hole.
"I did some research on the top streakers of all time, and they seemed to be all men," Kim said on the show. "I said, 'Lets try and change this.'"
Did her grandmother approve? "She thought it was funny, but my mom on the other hand did not."
Those stickers plastered all over her body? Scrapbooking stickers found Sunday morning at her local Wal-Mart.
After being caught by the police, she was given a jacket and taken into custody without handcuffs. The penalty for a few minutes of clothes-free exercise in the middle of a internationally streamed telecast? $100
What's next for Kim from Plainville? She's already secured the handle @PresCupStreaker on Twitter, is making the media rounds this week and is plastered across sport sites across the globe.
"Im still thinking about it honestly," she said. "I dont know if you can top that."
