My son will be 8 and has been construction legos for being now, generous to tiny pcs as he grew. He will build for hours and initiation his own but he is now collecting all of the city construction. The pcs stay collectively, you can actually use them to play with everywhere they don't come away from each additional once put collectively. Splendid for view and creativeness.

We bought the first car for our 6 year old daughter a even as ago. It's very cool looking toy, and my daughter loves it. So we decided to hold another one for my supporter's son's birthday. My daughter wants some help from her daddy to put the car collectively, but I reflect that's a exact activity they take pleasure in collectively. I bought this for my five year old and seven year old sons who love Lego. The box says it's for ages 5-12, so I planning it would be perfect. Great reviews on Amazon too. I guess I should have looked more closely--as it has 189 pieces--most of them very very small. This is way too intricate for any 5-7 year old to put collectively on their own. And as they try, they'll certainly lose at least some of the pieces. So, in less than a week, we have a bunch of Legos to add to our set, but not ample to build the dump truck.Now, if you plan to build it for your kids, and put it back collectively everytime they adjust it--then you'll like this. Otherwise, I'd avoid this for those under 8. Much best is to spend your $20.00 on one of the generic Lego construction sets.If Lego really wants to design a dump truck that 5-7 year olds can put collectively, it should have 20-30 pieces not 189. Not sure what they're idea.

This construction site dump truck has very good playability and is well-corresponding with the front-end loader (#7630). Both models are at the low-price end of the Lego City line. And both are nicely equal. The dump truck has a few more specialized parts than the front-end loader, but other than the two boulders, there are no pieces that are truly single-use (e.g., no one-piece truck bed). I can't find any shortcoming in terms of play (not anything keeps falling off when family tree play with it). I fervently urge this model so long as you can find it at or below MSRP (when Lego models rotate of out manufacture, you'll find resellers often list sets at ridiculous prices; shop sensibly).

My oldest son loved before a live audience with legos, back in the 70's. Evenly they were too difficult to put collectively and take away from each additional since the pieces fit so tightly, but when he got his machinate collectively, it stayed collectively in anticipation of he took it away from each additional. The new lego sets that we've purchased just for our youngest son go collectively much more easily but they also come away from each additional easily. I found two faults with this set. The sides to the trailer are set specific. The hinge for the trailer breaks off easily. Otherwise it is a fine set. It articulates nicely. My four year old likes it but I have to refix the hinge often.
