The picture in the detail Page has been conveniently edited (blurred) to avoid the greatest pitfalls of the figure:
"Painted by hand", sure... by someone that has poor motor skills and did not care.
My figure suffers from strabismus (is cross eyed)
The tie has a few slashes of silver paint (in school reunion the tie has a pattern of squares). Completely random, doesn"t even look nice.
There are many other minor imperfections that I will fix with the help of my GW Paint kit
"this 10th Doctor figure is sculpted with incredible care and attention to detail".... NOT!
The hair (most important feature) is a blob of material haphazardly arranged on top of the head.
It is a good thing that one hand is inside the pocket of the coat, whoever sculpted this had no idea how to sculpt hands and opted for a blob of material marked into 4 pieces to symbolize fingers .
the coat and overcoat have some texturing, but, the shoes and pants are made in one piece (no sleeves, no texture, nothing).
i wish more reviews were up when I decided to buy it... if you are a fan consider yourself warned, there are far better Doctor Who Toys that you can display in a collector case
