We purchased this for our son for his 5th birthday as he is now obsessed with very old Eqypt. He loves it. We have built it manifold times, and he is already using this set with a additional Haba set he got last year. The Haba blocks are very nice, and its neat to have these unusually shaped blocks to use with all the others we have in the house. The Great Sphinx is a great addition as well.

My sons are into construction equipment - legos, ordinary unit blocks and no matter what thing they can get their hands on. They do like this set and didn't even need to look at the directions to build the further than. Since of the odd dimensions of these Haba blocks, they cannot be integrated into other structures and thus put a limit of creativeness. If the dimensions are fixed with ordinary unit blocks, they will get taken out more often to play. Also, this set has just ample blocks to make the pyramid in the depiction, so there is no way to close the pyramid's "door". Could be best, but this is the only pyramid blocks we have found...

I got this set for my 6 year old nephew and at 7 we still consequence in it out, and enjoy it. The blocks are very high feature, even if I was disapointed that it was made in Plates. In any case after the pyramid is built we use it as a centerpiece for our Egyptian role before a live audience activities. We have a few mummies that we use and Egyptian or any map to start dialogue and action. The scenarios we start are creative and imaginative. Our chat leads to culture exploration. Building the Pyramid is splendid, but what comes next is likewise important. My nephew has asked for the Roman Coliseum or Roman Arch. I'm looking into that. When I get them we can Contain Julius Ceasar and the Romans in our role play. If we don't have ships to convey the Romans to Egypt, then to a great degree just teleport them.

This toy is exceptional - the cleverness to exchange the interior for new mazes and hiding seats for the mummy in addendum to construction the Splendid Pyramid is both fun and culture. My 6 year old loves it and can put it collectively pretty much by himself now - we had to read the directions a few era but it is easier and easier with each build. I'm vacant to collect all the sets - they are splendid toys!

well made, cute idea, only business I noticed, even if, was that it seemed too intricate for my bestow class of four and five year old family tree; it did not offer instant delight, like the Egyptian Playmobile did

I got this for my 3 time old in check over of the fact including the intention of she is obsessed including pyramids and blocks It's actually cool, but only way too old for her to put collectively (which I guess I should be inflicted including celebrated). It took me in this vicinity 15 outline to put collectively! She likes before a live audience including the blocks, and it will be a in tears we can care for for being (if I can care for up including the pieces). Definitely a cool gift for an older outcome.
