How can one go ill-treat including Lego's? My 11 year old has been building for 7 years already. He now prefers the 1000+ sets, but he'll erect anything. If it deters him from video sports assembly for a while, I'm satisfied. When he's done displaying the sets he builds, we put them into a giant container for building unique things at a shortly time. Lego's are durable and last forever. My suggestion is to purchase sets based on the number of pieces, the age of the child, and how skilled they are including following directions.
